I generally think this about all characters ever, but that’s just me.

I don’t like breaking up with LIs in general, either, though I have varying levels of feelings about each one, specifically.

I have no problem with it from a meta standpoint, or if someone is curious to see what that option does, or even if you’re roleplaying a character that makes that choice. I mean, if your character is a jerk and wants to do that, that’s one thing.

If the player actually thinks it’s a good idea and defends it personally, though…

There is actually a point for each LI character that I consider a sort of… complete asshole choice. For Isabela, it’s giving her to the Arishok. For Fenris, it’s giving him back to Danarius. For Anders, it’s dumping him immediately after sleeping with him. For Merrill, it’s killing her entire clan.

I have mixed feelings on Sebastian, so I’m not sure about him. I think that his entire rivalry line is terrible, because even though it leads him to go retake Starkhaven, it turns him into a really hateful person. I used to like it, and then I compared the type of person he is in a friendship with the type of person he is in a rivalry at the endgame, and it really turned me off rivalry.

Am I seriously the only person who doesn’t have exiled prince or whatever? Guess I know what I’m doing over summer…

Yeah. There are a lot of really shittastic choices you can make, particularly when it comes to LIs, in both of the games. If you’re RPing a totally dickheadded character (see: Thackary Surana) then that’s the only time in which I feel those choices are a good idea. But they’re a good idea for the sake of dickheadedry.

Otherwise, no, they’re not nice and there’s no way you can defend doing those things in the name of being a good person. Does not compute.
